I attended a First Aid/CPR course this morning and was thoroughly impressed. The facilitator, Allan, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging. He created a comfortable environment that encouraged everyone to participate, and he delivered the content in a way that made the learning both memorable and enjoyable.

This is the second time I’ve done the course with Allan, and I’ve been very happy both times. I’ve completed numerous courses over the years, and I can honestly say Allan is an exceptionally good educator!

Review: This was a great Course and I learnt heaps from it. I needed to upgrade my First Aid skills as we will doing medivacs on the rescue vessels.
I looked at a number of courses but being in far north Queensland there are not many courses available in my area. I originally was going to do the Certificate 2 in Health Care, but after talking to the staff at the College I found that I could do the Certificate 3 completely online. The price was also attractive, as it was considerably less than other Colleges. Many of the practical sessions are completed by video, which was good. The units are well written, very informative and easy to understand. I really enjoyed this course and learnt a great deal.

Most of the units can be delivered 100% online. Short practical time frames in all metropolitan cities and some regional areas of Australia. Live webinars with real paramedics where you can Q&A what you need to learn. The practical components can be done via video or online meetings at set times. The Diploma of Emergency Health Care does not meet the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) standards for national registration as a paramedic within state-based ambulance services. To achieve this, you must enrol in a university and complete a three-year degree, a requirement consistent across all Australian providers. If you are looking to go into a state-based ambulance service straight away, then the university pathway would probably be best for you. Any advanced standing will be dependent on individual university requirements, and students should seek advice from any relevant tertiary institution before enrolment to determine the entry requirements for any specific field of study they may want to pursue in the future.
